A’TIN Parents Get Ready: SB19’s New Video WYAT is Out!
SB19 returns with their newest song Where You At and kids and their parents are loving it!
After a long wait and various teasers of a comeback, P-Pop group SB19 is back with a new single, Where You At. It premiered last Friday, September 2.
Aside from the single, A’TIN fans and their parents got to see the music video for the song. The video gave some nostalgic vibes for many parents of A’TIN fans as the boys — Stell, Ken, Pablo, Justin, and Josh — returned to the decade of diners, discos, cassette tapes, rollerskates, and game arcades before transitioning to the present.
SB19 on getting reconnected
Prior to the launch of the music video, the boys went live on YouTube. They shared some thoughts about making the music video.
“Pinapagod ako ng WYAT,” Stell said in jest. “Kumbaga nag-pupump talaga yung blood ko.”
“It makes your soul feel alive,” Pablo, who wrote the song, shared. “Where You At is about reconnection. Alam naman natin na nag-daan tayo lahat sa pandemic. Talagang na disconnect tayong lahat sa isa’t-isa.“
“Talaga naman kailangan siya ng bawat isa kasi nag-reresonate siya sa bawat isa sa atin. Yung story natin iisa lang tayo ng dinadanas and we need each other to keep our bloods pumping and our souls alive,” Pablo added.
WYAT tour
Aside from the release of the song and music video, the boys are doing their WYAT tour soon. The tour kicks off on September 17 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. More dates will be announced for the Philippine and World Tour as well.
First making their debut in 2018, SB19 has since skyrocketed to stardom thanks to songs like “Go Up,” “Tilaluha,” “Alab,” “MAPA,” and “Bazinga”. Their song “Bazinga” surpassed BTS’ “Butter” in the Billboard charts early this year.
Their recent performances included the Binibining Pilipinas coronation night last July 31 and an appearance for a softdrink event at the Trinoma Activity Center last August 24.
