“Boys Over Flowers” Star Kim Hyun-Joong’s agency, Henecia, released reports on July 21. The agency mentioned that he and his non-showbiz wife are expecting a child. Soompi, a South Korean News Agency, translated their reports. They shared that the star was waiting with “caution and excitement” for his new child.
Henecia also released a statement for the public to “refrain from excessive interest or speculation out of consideration for his non-celebrity wife.”
When did this happen?
The 36-year-old singer and actor revealed on February 27 during his What I Want To Say concert that there was someone he decided to “spend the rest of his life with”. Although he did not drop names, the two eventually tied the knot. There was no ceremony due to the COVID-19 situation in the country back then.
Kim Hyun-Joong is reportedly still going to continue his music career as a member of the K-Pop boy band, SS501. Although performing since 2005, his popularity rose due to his role as Boys Over Flowers‘ Yoo Ji Hu. His popularity grew more with his role in the 2010 series Playful Kiss as Baek Seung-jo.
He has another child with his ex-girlfriend Choi after a paternity test taken in December 2015.
