First Trailer for Moana’s New Adventure Dropped
Moana is back for a new adventure in Moana 2 scheduled for a November 2024 release
Moana is back for a new adventure in the upcoming film Moana 2 showing this November 27 in the U.S.
It seems that the Samoan duo is reuniting in the trailer for a journey into the unknown. The ancestors are once again calling upon Moana on a new mission – she “must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced.”
Aside from the trailer, the first poster for Moana 2 has also been unveiled by Disney.
Story from the first movie
First shown in 2016, Moana is the story of a Moana, the daughter of the chief village chosen for a mission to return the heart of Te Fiti. Along the way, she embarks on an adventure with the help of her friends including Maui, voiced by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Moana also had popular songs including “How Far Will I Go” which went on to be nominated for an Oscar and Golden Globe. The song had become so popular even among Filipinos with celebrity mom Janella Salvador singing a version of the song.
Moana 2 was first announced back in February.
