Ice Seguerra’s Videoke Hits OPM Concert Is Something Families Can Go To!

Ice Seguerra’s videoke concert happens on November 8 and it’s something couples and their families can look forward to!

If you missed Ice Seguerra’s Video Hits OPM series last September, you are in for a treat. The singer-songwriter announced he’s holding a repeat on November 8 at the Music Museum, and it promises to be a night everyone will enjoy. You can even bring family and friends to enjoy.

During an invitation attended by reporters, the Modern Parenting cover star shared how the videoke concert evolved thanks to his wife, actress Liza Diño after a video of him singing karaoke popped up as a Facebook remembrance.

“For me, yon yung naging magic ng show kasi kung walang ganun, it’s just another show.”

Dahil may audience siya, it’s a big element,” he added.

Ice also fondly recalled his mom’s favorite song which he also sings. ” Ang favorite talaga ng mom ko na song is from Bread. Favorite ‘nya yan.”

According to Ice and Liza, it was a challenge to narrow the songs to include for the OPM series. Liza chimed in that Ice was not saying the number for the line-up.

“Tinago niya sa akin kasi may limit siya, ” Liza shared. “Dapat 25 lang. Ang na achieve ko 25 – ang daming medley!”

Ice defends himself by including his medley. “Parang mga anim yon! So yung isa pang apat or lima. So ang total ay mga 40 songs plus songs.”

Everyone can join in the fun

Ice hinted that they want to inject much fun into the OPM videoke repeat.

So talaga ang peg namin is Zumba.”

The audience can look forward to several guests at the concert. Among those announced are singer Louise from The Clash season 2, Ebe Dancel, and Angel from Drag Race Philippines.

Expect some surprises in addition to the guests. Ice shared that during the first OPM series, some of those who were in the audience included singer Richard Reynoso and members of Prettier than Pink who jammed with him on stage.

Sing at your range

Filipinos love karaoke, and sometimes they go overboard with the notes. Ice, who is also fond of karaoke suggests singing songs they are comfortable with.

” Ang pinaka importante talaga sa akin is to sing songs within your range,” he shared. “Kasi whether be na nahihiya ka or makapal ang mukha mo, it’s very important. Even my doctor told me that.”

Pag nasa range mo, iyon yung comfort zone mo.”

After the OPM karaoke series at the Music Museum, Ice will resume alongside Liza in their play Choosing Acceptance at the Doreen Blackbox Theater, Arete in Ateneo de Manila with dates on November 23, 24, 30, and December 1.
