Iya Villania And Drew Arellano Dance To A Familiar Song, Confirming Baby Number 5!
The Villania-Arellano household is about to get chaotic, as Iya Villania and Drew Arellano confirmed they’re expecting baby number 5!
Baby announcements have gotten creative through the years but all it takes is one cute song to drop a hint. This was in the case of Drew Arellano and Iya Villania, who confirmed they’re expecting baby number five!
In an Instagram reel, the couple are seen hilariously dancing with their kids, Primo, Leon, Alana, and Astro to the song of Lou Vega’s “Mambo Number 5”. Each of them counted and later joined together to confirm that they were expecting baby number five.
Several of their friends expressed their excitement. TV host Bianca Gonzalez commented: ” Iba!!!! Basketball team na!!!! Congratulations Team A!!!”
Jericho Rosales wrote: Oh em gee!!! Hahahahaha congratulations guys!!!”
Iya’s former co-host Camille Prats meanwhile said: ” Finnalllyyyy!!!!! Wooohooo!!!!! 🥳”

As the Arellano family prepares to welcome baby number five, the couple spoke with Modern Parenting last year about their family life. During the interview, Iya recalled she only had Primo and Leon and how she transitioned to being a mother of two.
“I couldn’t come to think of how I could love another child the same way. That was my guilty feeling when I had Leon. As in umiiyak ako sa hospital before going home, because I didn’t know if I was ready to bring this child home because I missed and loved Primo so much,” she recalls. “But your heart really just grows.”
“I think mentally and emotionally, it is harder when you have a second child. But physically, strategically, and logistically—it’s harder to adjust from two to three. Because outnumbered na yung magulang. But after Leon, parang okay na. You really just become more relaxed when you have more kids.”
It’s going to be a ride for the Arellano family with the incoming of their fifth child. Congratulations Iya and Drew!
