Celebration of Love: Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano Marry in Palawan

Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano tied the knot in a church wedding in Palawan, attended by their respective families.

Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano finally got married in church rites. On February 15, the couple along with their respective families were in Palawan for the church wedding.

ABS-CBN reported that Jessy’s parents flew in for the wedding and that Luis’s parents—dad Edu Manzano, mom Vilma Santos, and stepdad Ralph Recto—were also present. Father Tito Caluag officiated the rites.

Sponsors include Jessy’s former Star Magic handler Alan Real, current manager Joanne Angeles, Viva’s June Rufino, Virgie Ramos, and ABS-CBN executives Karlo Katigbak and Cory Vidanes. On the other hand, Luis’ brother Ryan was one of the best men. Jessy’s sisters served as matron of honors. Their daughter Rosie was a “little bride.”

Mike Morada and Alex Gonzaga-Morada served as the candle bearers. Truly a star-studded celebration of love!

Hinting at a church wedding

Before the wedding, Jessy said in an interview that plans for the church rites were already set in motion. “Finally, matuloy na rin ‘yung church wedding namin,” Jessy confirms with ABS-CBN during an appearance at a Health and Wellness Expo. ”Finally, makakauwi na rin ‘yung family ko, ’cause when we did our civil wedding noong 2021, wala pa ‘yung family ko noon.”

The actress added that what she was looking forward to was for her whole family to finally meet Rosie. “Nakakatuwa, kasi my whole family is coming.”

Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano had their intimate civil wedding at The Farm at San Benito, Batangas last February 2021. They then welcomed their baby girl, Rosie, in December 2022.
