Jolina Magdangal Shares Throwback Photo With Ang TV Co-Stars
Jolina Magdangal along with Roselle Nava, Lindsay Custodio, and Nikki Valdez reminisced about their days when they started as young stars in a series of photos.
If you were a kid of the 90s, chances are you’ve encountered the afternoon show Ang TV, which launched several stars such as Claudine Barretto, Angelu de Leon, Jolina Magdangal, John and Camille Prats, and Cheska and Patrick Garcia. Jolina sent fans on a little trip down memory lane when she posted photos alongside friends Roselle Nava, Lindsay Custodio, and Nikki Valdez.
In the photos posted on February 10, Jolina captioned: “At dahil nagkita kita ulit kami sa anniversary ng Asap.. eto may mga nahanap akong ‘NOW & THEN’.”
Among the photos shared include an anniversary picture of ASAP in MOA in 2015 and a photo from the movie Hataw Na, which Lindsay, Jolina, and Roselle were part of. Hataw Na was the film starring Gary Valenciano and Dayanara Torres.
Several comments from their co-stars and friends could not help but say little has changed. Lindsay for her part said of the photos: ” I love this so much Mars!!! Ang sarap balikan ng ating nakaraan! nakakamiss!”
Lindsay uploaded a short video of them doing the famous “Nge” expression.
“After 30 years since our first airing together, it still feels the same being with my Ang TV sisters! At least this time around. Modified na after 30 years May ‘paa’ na! O di ba Mars?!”
Nostalgia and now
Now all moms and married, Lindsay, Jolina, Roselle, and Nikki celebrate their success in showbiz. Jolina is considered one of the icons in the 90s not just for her movies and TV series, but also in the fashion department. She married Rivermaya’s Mark Escueta and has two kids. She is also one of the hosts of Magandang Buhay.
Roselle became one of the biggest singers in the 90s and 2000s with her version of Basil Valdez’s hit “You” and “Bakit Nga Ba Mahal Kita.” She is married with two kids, with her eldest son, Rafa joining last year in The Voice Kids.
Lindsay Custodio gained prominence as a singer and starred in several TV shows, including Growing Up in GMA 7. She has two children from her marriage to her late husband Julius Platon. In 2022, she married Frederick Cale.
Nikki Valdez continues to be active in showbiz, appearing in different teleseryes on ABS-CBN. She has a daughter, Olivia, and is married to Luis Garcia.
