Louis Vuitton Brings Luxury to Baby Clothes!
When there’s a Louis Vuitton for mom, there’s a Louis Vuitton for baby now, too.
Louis Vuitton has been a favored brand for luxury totes and handbags for years. We’d spend hundreds of thousands of pesos to own one. However, the brand has teased its entry into the children’s wear industry by creating baby clothes. But this isn’t the first time Louis Vuitton has entered an industry specific to children. It first entered the industry through the founder’s grandson, Gaston-Louis Vuitton, who opened a toy department inside the Avenue des Champs-Élysées store in the 1930s.
What can we expect from the Louis Vuitton babywear line?
“The collection represents a thoughtful range of everyday pieces and special occasion styles, of first toys that can become lifelong keepsakes,” the fashion house stated in a press release with Women’s Wear Daily.
From bibs, onesies, shoes, accessories, and many other baby items, Louis Vuitton intends to reimagine their signature monogram pattern along with their famous blossom pattern, which also came from one of its successful jewelry lines: Color Blossom. They’ve already settled on a color palette for the clothes: milky white, sandy dune, and tonal grays.
According to the house, the line will cover babies from 0 to 12 months old and will become available in stores on March 3. In the Philippines, parents might need to wait a few weeks before it arrives because of logistics.
Twinning in luxury
We’re always looking for ways to twin with our babies but not neglect our hard-earned Louis Vuitton bags. According to the brand, there has been an increased demand for baby wear and this is their response, making it easier for moms to twin with their babies. While we’re sure babies may not understand the value of a Louis Vuitton just yet, it’s still a joy for mothers to share the luxury brand they love with their babies!
