Modern Parenting’s The 100 List
SID TAYAG
As owner and manager of Learn and Train Sports Academy (LTSA) Gymnastics Makati and San Juan, Sid takes a lot of kids under her wing, guiding them to be competitive gymnasts. At home, she and her husband lead their own team—with kids Sabina, 14, and Gael, 12—often going on big and little trips together, just the four of them. Their family trips are when they truly connect, focus on one another, and create core memories.
SIYA DARYANI AND ROSHNI MIRPURI
The dynamic duo behind styling service, The Closet Culture—and resident stylists for Modern Parenting —Siya and Roshni make motherhood look easy and fabulous as they balance their passion for fashion with raising their families. For Siya, a no-screen-time policy for her twin boys on weekdays ensures her family stays connected and present, minus modern distractions. Similarly, Roshni, makes it a priority to be fully available for her daughters, especially during meal time—their daily bonding activity.
STEFFY GERONA
Steffy is a beauty queen, nurse, scuba diver, fashion design student, and entrepreneur. She is mom to Sancho, 7, Isla, 6, and Summer, 5, and views motherhood as a work in progress, and a journey of growth and learning. She believes in reducing screen time for her children, spending time in nature, and keeping them humble and grounded.
TECHIE HAGEDORN
Techie is the designer behind her eponymous label, Alegre by Techie Hagedorn, which infuses modern silhouettes with touches of Filipiniana and supports communities from Antipolo, Abra, Laguna, and the Mountain Province. She has 17-year-old twins Clara and Emilia, whom she strives to always be present for. Together with her husband Philip, they connect with their girls by checking in on them daily and having honest conversations.
TIFFANY TUAZON
A mom of three, Tiffany blends her business know-how with her mama expertise as the founder of The Nest Attachment Parenting Hub, a pioneering baby store that advocates breasfeeding, cloth-diapering, babywearing, natural and purposeful parenting. She strives to be a present mom for her kids Zofia 12, Nicholas 4, and Kristov 3, with whom she enjoys spending daily life experiences with, challenging their thought processes and creating opportunities for dialogues.
TINA ZAMORA
Teacher Tina, a family life and child developmental specialist and director of Next School, may be an empty nester, but she and her husband remain very close to their kids Arianna, 32, Patricia, 28, and Bea, 25. Aside from staying connected 24/7 through their family group chat, Tina says she makes sure to have individual “plugged” and “unplugged” time with each of her girls— keen to make them feel that home is always just a message or lunch date away, no matter how busy everyone gets.
VALERIE WEIGMANN
Valerie is a model and entrepreneur, and a mom to 2-month-old Lothar. As a first-time mom, she has put considerable and conscious effort into limiting her time on her phone so that when the time comes, her son can see the importance of being fully present with your loved ones. She advocates for indigenous people, electric vehicles, and open governance.
VINA MORALES
Beloved singer-actress Vina is also an entrepreneur, co-owning the multi-branch Ystilo Salon with her sisters. An empowered single mom, she exemplifies independence and resilience for her 15-year-old daughter, Ceana, while championing support for fellow solo parents. For Vina, her most meaningful role is being a parent—engaging in activities her daughter loves, listening intently, and ensuring her daughter always feels valued, and heard.
WINNIE WONG
Life is a beautiful balancing act for Winnie—content creator, international school educator, and founder of Pouf, a chic lifestyle brand offering planners, organizers, and fragrances—and most importantly, mom to Suri. She shares glimpses of her life through her social media platforms, celebrating both the everyday joys and candid, imperfect moments. For Winnie, every second spent with her child and growing together matters far more than perfecting routines or chasing milestones.
YOYA GUECO VERDIER
Yoya seamlessly fuses utilitarian practicality with delicate elegance in the designs of her namesake clothing brand, YOYA, which she founded in 2019 after returning to Manila from Canada. A stylish mom to Adrian, 12, and Anais, 9, she treasures their nightly cuddle time—a sacred ritual for catching up, decompressing, reconnecting, and recharging with hugs and kisses.
