What Will 2025 Be For Parenting?

Parenting has evolved and 2025 is no exemption

We are just weeks away from saying goodbye to 2024 and welcoming 2025. No one is sure of what will happen given the recent events that are the US elections (that’s another topic altogether), but many companies are already prepping their forecasts and parenting is no exemption.

We all know that parenting has evolved through the years. There have been techniques and trends first-time parents follow. However, we all know that parenting style also depends on their upbringing.

It’s unclear what we will see about parenting in 2025. Claireville, a public relations firm in London shared three trends that will continue or happen next year. Here’s what the firm shared:

The Eco-conscious parent

Families live in an era where pollution and climate change are the main issues. Parents have become aware of the family’s impact on the environment. They will continue to teach their children and communities of using eco-friendly products – from baby diapers to segregating wastes.

On top of using eco-friendly products, parents will also be aware of buying merchandise and may resort to hand-me-down or thrift stores.

The Tech-savy parent

Technology continues to evolve, and parents will have to adapt to it. While many agree that screen time for children should be limited or, in the case of other parents, no screen time at all, technology will play a crucial role in raising children.

With apps and tools now available, parents rely on these products for their children’s health and safety. Parents are also teaching their kids the proper use of technology, especially the internet, which has become available and affects their well-being.

Flexible and personalized education

With technology disrupting every segment of society, expect education to be revolutionized and personalized. With laptops, online teaching platforms, and various apps now available, parents continue to be their kids’ teachers.

Parents will also be on the hunt for schools that will give their kids unique ways of learning. From play school to online teaching, expect them to be more active in creating a good environment for their children.

It’s only the beginning!

It remains to be seen what will be happening in 2025. But we all know that technology will play a vital role. Many methods will spring up in the next few months, so we will keep our eyes and ears and break them down as they develop.

Some trends from 2024 have to go. But we also know it will return in a new form. After all, it goes in cycles.
