A new version of the popular song “The People In Your Neighborhood” was unveiled on November 16, where a Filipino, Anton, was mentioned by one of the show’s human characters Alan Muraoka.

Alan asked Elmo and Ji-Young if they want to meet new friends. He then mentioned that they were Asians and Pacific islanders just like him and Ji-Young.

Alan then introduces Anton, who works as a bus driver and loves basketball. Other Asian and Pacific Islander nationalities are included in the video as well.

Moreover, Ji-Young and Alan join in the discussion as they talk about their Asian heritage.
