Rhea Tan and Marian Rivera Share The Importance of Family Time
At the launch of BlancPro, Beautederm founder Rhea Tan and Marian Rivera share the importance of time management on family and business schedules.
Beautederm founder Rhea Tan just launched her latest company BlancPro, and she had no less than GMA’s Primetime Queen Marian Rivera as its ambassador. The two are not just celebrity and business owners but also devoted mothers to their kids.
Time management is key
During the launch last June 28, Marian and Rhea pointed out the importance of time management and explaining their jobs to their children.
“Simple lang – time management. And siguro maganda na open yung communication ko sa kids. At kahit bata pa sila, ine-explain ko sa kanila,” Marian said.
“‘Ito ang gagawin ni Mama.’ ‘Ito yung mga times na wala si Mama.’ O, ‘Ito yung mga times na free si Mama,’ masasamahan ko kayo, makakapasyal tayo.”
Marian said that as early as now, she is teaching her daughter Zia to take care of her brother when she is not around.
“So, may mga ganung conversation na kami. At talagang mahalaga na wala pa man, hindi pa man nangyayari, nabibigay mo na ang schedule ahead of time sa kanila,” Marian shared.
“Mas maganda kasi na sinasabi mo sa mga bata. Hindi yung one week before, aalis na pala ako, may taping na pala ako.”
The actress is set to return to the silver screen with her husband Dingdong Dantes in the upcoming Star Cinema movie Rewind scheduled within the year.
The importance of humility
Rhea for her part said that she tries to be with her kids as much as she can despite running the various businesses she has. She also mentioned that she is proud that her children are very humble despite the stature they have.
“My eldest Kenneth is 18 years old. Every day, nasa office siya. May sweldo pa siya na PHP 300 a day. The other day nagtitinda siya ng bags then the next day gumagawa siya ng kape sa cafe,” she said of her son.
Rhea also added that her son did utility work. “Sabi niya sa akin gusto niya maranasan maging empleyado para pag siya na maging boss, alam na niya yung puso na maging empleyado at mas alam niya yung kailangan.”
“Yan yung greatess acheivement ko. Yung napapalaki ko ng maayos yung mga anak namin.”
