Vern Enciso-Lim Welcomes First Child
Content creator Vern Enciso-Lim shared that she and her husband Ben Lim welcomed their first child, documenting the first days of the arrival
Vern Enciso-Lim is officially a mom. On Friday, September 27, the content creator shared an Instagram reel, showing her husband Ben Lim looking at their son Nathan from the hospital crib.
“Better than any Armani suit on a Sunday,” she wrote. “Here’s a reminder to marry the nice guy because your son gets the best dad too. We love you, @benlimm. Thank you for taking care of us [for] the past nine months.”
Many of the couple’s friends such as David Guson, Patricia Prieto, and Alodia Gosiengfiao congratulated the two on the arrival of their son.
Vern, who has posted updates on the vlog she shares with her sister Verniece, uploaded updates as well on the first days of their son. She wrote that she gave birth early at 34 weeks. Despite the CS she went through, she made sure to give her skin contact and milk to her son as soon as possible.
“For the first seven days, I would spend my time at the NICU doing skin to skin, trying to latch, and trying to become a mom in this little space,” she posted on Instagram stories. ” At first I didn’t bring anything but my boobies. Then after spending almost 8 to 10 hours here, I started to bring stuff with me,” she laughed.
Updates on her son
Vern gave more updates, writing that she and her son needed to expose themselves to the sun due to jaundice and pumping more milk. She was supposed to save more information for the vlog but decided to give updates on Instagram stories.
“I really have mom brain now so I have to type what I remember or else I would never get to share them,” she said. ” It’s true, you forget all the pains you’ve experienced.”
Her last posts showed that she had gone home with her son and that she had been resting from the birth.
Vern, known for vlogging about fashion and lifestyle alongside her sister Verniece first announced the pregnancy in May. She and Ben have been open about going through IVF and also shared their experience in the vlog.
