Sweet Dreams Are Made of These: Why Families Love Park Avenue Desserts

From delicately crafted cakes to breads, pastries, and more, Park Avenue Desserts offers delicious offerings for family members of all ages!

Desserts have always been part of every household—whether that includes the unforgettable Dulce de Leche cake that has always been a present figure on birthdays or those decadent brownies that we’ve always had growing up.

Because yes, more than a source of comfort or indulgence, sweets bring families together as a nostalgic tradition to come back to, time and time again.

The same goes for Park Avenue Desserts, a well-loved that has grown not just a following, but also a community since opening its doors in Magallanes. With bestsellers like the Mango Crunch Cake and Strawberry Mango Bloom, it has undeniably become an icon among moms and dads alike.

From humble beginnings

Opened in 2011 and headed by Chef Buddy Trinidad and his wife Rita, the bakeshop is a testament to his passion for serving families with cakes, bread, and pastries that satisfy all sorts of cravings.

Croissants, sourdough, and loaf bread can be eaten during lunch and dinner, or even as a light snack in between chores. Meanwhile, handheld sweets like cookies and brownies are a welcoming treat for kids to bring to school or eat at home. And for parents with dietary restrictions, the Keto Chocolate Cheesecake hits the spot!

Looking for something to bring to parties and family gatherings? The refreshing White Chocolate Raspberry Mousse or the Strawberry Mango Bloom—a layered cake that features a combination of light meringue and indulgent vanilla sponge with fresh strawberries and mangoes in between. Truly a showstopper!

All this, paired with its commitment to quality ingredients and exceptional customer service has made it a well-loved brand. This is why in the last three years, Park Avenue Desserts has embarked on extending its offerings by opening kiosk formats in key areas across Makati, Quezon City, and San Juan.

New era, new look

While the pandemic put most businesses at a standstill, the owners of Park Avenue Desserts retained its store look as it continued to offer its cakes and pastries on a delivery basis—allowing families still to celebrate milestones within the comfort of their homes.

After the pandemic passed, there was a renewed interest in store visits, with more people dropping by for pickups or to dine in. With that, Park Avenue Desserts revitalized its store look—not only to refresh the Park Avenue Desserts brand but also to reinvigorate the whole consumer experience.

That being said, Park Avenue Desserts reopens to the public with a new look. Post-modern, art deco, and modern minimalist influences have taken over, while still retaining the old rose, gold, and brown tones that it is known for. Larger shelf displays allow for more baked goods to be showcased, which can surely tempt families to bring back their favorite pastries.

Now, with this new look, families can indulge in their favorite after-meal desserts, as they can expect a bigger seating capacity that expanded from 10 to 30. This makes the bakery perfect for housing celebrations of all sorts—like birthdays to reunions, graduation parties, baby showers, and more.

But more than that, Park Avenue Desserts aims to be a haven for tired moms and dads—a warm and inviting place where they can find respite from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind.
