Celebrity mom Camille Prats witnessed her parents celebrating their renewal of vows in Boracay.

Last week, the Prats clan came together in Boracay to celebrate their parents’ renewal of vows for their 40th wedding anniversary. It was an intimate event, but a beautifully decorated one as it was a beach wedding with the whole family in white. Mom and Dad even had a Team Bride and Team Groom respectively to commemorate the celebration further.

“What a blessing to have witnessed this! My parents getting married all over again with the family they have built together,” writes Camille Prats.

A love built over time

In-laws also attended the event with the ladies and the gentlemen separating into Team Bride and Team Groom, respectively. A solemn but heartwarming moment, the family spent moments catching selfies and more dynamic shots in contrast to a wedding’s usual formal one. “It was really unforgettable to see my in-laws’ surprise vow renewal and 40th wedding anniversary,” shares celebrity mom Isabel Oli-Prats.

Love is always worth celebrating. Especially when it’s a love that has built a family, a renewal of vows symbolizes the days of enjoying all the good and forgiving the bad. But unlike most weddings where a bride and groom aim for perfection, the renewal of vows is a more relaxed moment. Like Camille Prats’ parents’ renewal of vows, it’s a moment the family can look back, laugh, and maybe cry at all the memories they’ve made together.
