On December 1, 2022, Ai-Ai Delas Alas and her husband, Gerald Sibayan, renewed their vows as a celebration of two events: their 5th anniversary and Gerald’s birthday. The two marked their 5th anniversary celebration in Las Vegas, United States where they had a simple photo shoot with a pink backdrop full of large pink hearts decorated with some red and white dots. In her post, Ai-Ai also thanked her daughter, Sophia, for being the wedding planner for the simple renewal.
Renewal of vows is one way to celebrate
In another post, Ai-Ai Delas Alas greeted her husband with an advanced happy birthday before their trip to Las Vegas.
While it’s nothing like the usual big celebrations, the two kept it to a simple photoshoot. But sometimes, simplicity is all that’s needed. As parents, we tend to stress out over the little details and forget that it’s the execution of the intention that counts. We’re so desperate to make things look great that in the midst of the stress, we hurt our partners instead.

According to the comedian’s post, she’ll be uploading a vlog regarding the renewal, too. Currently, she’s working as an activity director in an elderly care facility.
