WATCH: Billy Crawford’s New Song Features Wife Coleen Garcia and Son Amari
After his stint as the winner of Danse Avec Les Stars, Billy Crawford returns to the music scene with his latest song under Viva Records.
Billy Crawford is back to doing music. On Wednesday, February 15, the LOL! host launched his newest music video for his song, “Love Is In The Air.” The MV features the participation of his wife, actress Coleen Garcia, and their son Amari.
Shot in Ilocos, one scene showed Amari receiving a heart-shaped balloon and rushing to his parents. Later, he lets go of the balloon. The video then shows Billy grooving to the song.
The video also features different types of love and Filipino values such as kindness and sharing.
More than romance
In an Instagram post, Billy wrote that when he came up with the MV and song, he wanted it to be more than just about romance.
“LOVE is not complicated, and it’s not something you have to search for. It can be found everywhere you look. In the most ordinary and mundane, and as widespread as the very air we breathe. It’s expressed in many different ways, given freely, sometimes without us even realizing it. It’s outrageous just how contagious a small act of kindness can be,” he said.
“This season, remember that it doesn’t take much to give your love to others. But also, remember to keep your heart open. So that you can recognize love when it’s being given to you, too. YOU ARE LOVED.”
On top of fatherhood, his music, and hosting stints, Billy is helping Coleen manage their food business Casa Crawford, which can be purchased via Grab.
