Although moms and daughters are usually the ones we see wearing matching outfits, there are days that we moms would like to do that with our sons as well! Especially when they still wear what we tell them to and like spending time with us, there are days we want to buy some clothes that let us twin in the photos with our boys. Here are some shops that sell clothes for both mothers and sons so that they can have twinning moments, too.

1. Lacoste

A classic brand like Lacoste has always made clothes for men, women, and kids. A lot of their clothes follow a certain trend with collared shirts in monochromatic hues since it used to be a favorite for golfers. Nowadays, they also have collared dresses in the same color as their shirts for men and boys.

2. IZOD

IZOD sports similar wear to Lacoste but focus more on prints. They have a preppy feel, sometimes sporting tartan or darker colors. They also sell skirts and shorts for moms to twin with their sons when sporting their white sneakers.

3. Terranova

Terranova has more contemporary styles for young moms and their sons. While the former two focus on a classic fashion style, Terranova styles modern moms who still want to enjoy their youth with their sons.

Some of us may be tired of our boys’ clothes either being neon-colored, dark-colored, or having cartoons on them so, why not try Gingersnaps for a change? Gingersnaps offers a more pastel palette for our young son’s clothes that are easy to twin with their grown-up line, Just G.

Uniqlo, being known for their LifeWear and basics, also makes some of these pieces for kids. Their button-up shirts are breathable and perfect for the summer if we’re going for the classic white-top-and-jeans look with sneakers. They also have dresses for moms who want something a little more breezy and drafty when they twin with their sons.

We moms love dressing up our kids — whether we have a daughter or a son. Although it’ll take a little more scouting on our part, twinning with our sons offers that fun experience of making clean and trendy looks beyond the usual streetwear. Besides, a lot of these shirts make up for their cost in the long run since having no print or cartoon character means it’ll be a while before they outgrow the design.
