Luane Dy Gives Birth to Her New Baby Boy!

Celebrity dad Carlo Gonzalez tagged his wife, Luane Dy, in a post showing a glimpse of their new baby boy.

When Luane Dy was 31 weeks into her pregnancy, she shared a heartfelt caption for her baby on Instagram with a photo from her maternity shoot. “May you always know, little one, that you were wished for, longed for, prayed for, and will be forever loved.”

And just yesterday, she finally met their new baby boy! Her husband, Kapuso actor Carlos Gonzalez, tagged her in an Instagram story—showing a picture of their new baby boy’s lips.

In a more recent photo, Carlo Gonzales shared a photo of their new baby boy by the water while also revealing his son’s name.

“Jose Thaddeus D. Gonzalez, our ray of sunshine; our purest joy. Thank you for gracing our world with your beauty. You are truly worth the wait our lovely boy. We love you forever, if only forever could go on tenfolds. Love that is more precious than any diamond, silver or any gold. ♡,” Carlos writes.

Luane Dy’s pregnancy journey was a subtle one!

Earlier, Luane Dy announced her pregnancy in the most glamorous way possible. During the 2023 GMA ball, she revealed her baby bump in a bedazzled, plunging, floor-length, body-con white gown. By then, she was already possibly in her second going third trimester.

It was only last October 16, 2023, however, when Kapuso actor Carlo Gonzalez subtly revealed the gender of Luane and his second baby, writing “2 Joses and a Luzia.” Luzia refers to his wife’s legal name, while Jose is the name of their eldest son. So the second Jose meant that the gender of their new baby was…a boy!

As she counted down to the 37th week of her pregnancy, Luane posted photos from her maternity shoot that flaunted her pregnancy glow. And today, the #Gonzigang are now four!

Celebrating pregnancy journeys in different ways

Although pregnancy is always a journey filled with mixed feelings of both joy and anxiety, celebrating it is still the parent-to-be’s choice. Some like grand celebrations, especially when they want to share the news with the rest of the clan. Others prefer something more subtle—like how Luane Dy and Carlos Gonzalez dropped small hints and crumbs about their new baby.
