Playing a mom-to-be in Fantastic Four: First Steps has prepared actress Vanessa Kirby for real life! The British star debuted a baby bump during the film’s promo in Mexico over the weekend.

Vanessa, known for playing Princess Margaret in The Crown, was spotted wearing a Schiaparelli dress and black heels. She was also seen holding her baby bump in a separate video.

Vanessa Kirby Channels Sue Storm In Real Life

In an Instagram post, Vanessa confirmed the pregnancy, saying: “I learnt so much from Sue Storm about being a first-time mother in the film. Very grateful and surreal to be on this journey with her.”

“Thank you to everyone for the beautiful love and support. It means the world to me.”

While not much has been revealed about Sue Storm’s pregnancy in the movie, it seems it will test her physically and emotionally as she, Reed Richards, her brother Johnny, and Ben Grimm face the danger that’s approaching Earth thanks to a warning from the Silver Surfer and a purple giant that is Galactus.

More than the action the four are about to face, the trailer hints at what we’re about to see from Sue in the film – that of a mother-to-be’s worries for her future child.

Who Is The Father of Vanessa’s Child?

Although Vanessa has been very private about her personal life, it’s revealed that she’s been in a relationship with former lacrosse player Paul Rabil since 2022. In his LinkedIn profile, Paul shared he’s the co-founder of the Premier Lacrosse League and a businessman.

Before Vanessa, he was married to Kelly Beger. In 2024, it was reported that he and Vanessa were engaged, but they have yet to confirm the report.

With Fantastic Four promos on the way, it will be a whirlwind ride for Vanessa during the first months of her pregnancy, and with her on-screen family in tow to help her, it will be a Fantastic Four family escapade.
