Melai Cantiveros’ Daughter Mela Celebrates 9th Birthday
Mela Francisco, the eldest daughter of Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco, turned 9 last April 3. She celebrated her birthday in Bohol with a provincial tradition.
Melai Cantiveros’ daughter Mela is growing up before our eyes. Last April 3, Mela turned 9 years old and celebrated with her family during a vacation in Bohol.
Melai shared a few photos of the family’s celebration on her Instagram.
“Happy Birthday to my firstborn child, my Ate Mela,” Melai wrote. “Love you ate. Thank you for being a responsible ate to Stella.Thank you for being you my ate kahit madaldal ka ate, may sense naman hehehehehe. Thank you for seeing myself in you first 😁 I Love you so much ate. Enjoy your birthday today. I will do everything and pray everything for you my darling.”
In a separate post, Melai shared that during Mela’s birthday, they did a tradition called “magpadugo ng manok,” which is normally done during a coming of age.
Of course, no celebration is complete without a birthday cake.
Viral sensation
Mela and her sister Stella have become one of today’s favorite celebrity kids. Since the viral chicken nuggets vlog they had with their mom, both Mela and Stella have made TV appearances and have done modeling on the side.
On top of the chicken nuggets vlog, the two have also guested in a Christmas event in Araneta City last year and continue to make children and adults laugh on their parents’ YouTube channel.
