New DongYan Sitcom Now in the Works!
The couple’s sitcom is currently in the first stage of preparation and DongYan fans are excited!
It’s been a while since Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes worked together on a TV project and DongYan fans won’t have to wait long. During an interview with GMA News at the sideline for the contract signing of her new endorsement, Marian confirmed that she and Dingdong will be working on a sitcom soon.
“Tapos na yung script niya. [They] are finalizing the cast and finalizing the date. May mga date na kami and reading na kami. After the reading, ready to roll,” she said.

While more details have yet to be given, both Marian and Dingdong are busy with their respective work. Marian is currently busy attending to their kids Zia and Sixto, taping for her spiels for the show Tadhana, and her FloraVida business. Dingdong on the other hand is set to return as host of the game show Family Feud scheduled this month.
Marian says Zia is excited to return to face-to-face classes
GMA’s Primetime Queen also shared during the interview that daughter Zia is excited to go back to school after two years and meet her classmates. Most recently, Zia had her second dose with her dad, Dingdong Dantes, by her side.
“Gusto talaga nia kasi looking forward siya na mag face-to-face na sa school,” Marian Rivera said. ” Sabi ko, anak hangga’t hindi ka fully vaccinated, hindi ka pwede pumasok sa school. Sabi niya mama, I want na the vaccine, I want to go to school.”
Aside from Zia, several celebrity kids have also gotten their second vaccinations such as Judy Ann Santos’ kids Luna, Lucho, and Yohan, and Bianca Gonzalez’s daughter Lucia.
