BSB’s Nick Carter Returns to Manila and Cebu this 2024!

Backstreet Boy’s Nick Carter marks Manila and Cebu as stopovers for his Who I Am concert tour this 2024!

While Backstreet’s clearly back (and were probably never gone), Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter is also launching his concert tour this coming 2024 with Manila and Cebu as two of his stopovers in Asia with Jakarta, Indonesia as the third. Warmly welcomed during the boy band’s 30th-anniversary concert last 2023, the BSB fans of Nick Carter are in for another treat as he performs in both Cebu and Manila!

When did Nick Carter start singing solo?

In 2002, Nick Carter decided to try going solo and succeeded! His album, Now or Never, reached no. 17 on the Billboard 200. One of his debuts as a solo singer was in the Children’s Charity Concert of 2002 where he sang Help Me.

Last year, he also performed at his late brother, Aaron’s, benefit concert. He then wrote and sang Hurts To Love You, paying tribute to Aaron.

The concert, organized by their sister, Angel, and friend N Sync’s Lance Bass, brought in singers like American Idol runner-up David Archuleta, Ryan Cabrera, Bryan Fischetti (LFO), and many others to perform to raise awareness about mental health while donating all the proceeds to non-profit organization, On Our Sleeves.

According to the concert organizers, Wilbros Live, Nick will be singing a combination of songs from the Backstreet Boys, his singles, and covers from a few artists. Some users on Spotify leaked that Backstreet Boys’ classics like “Larger Than Life”, “Shape of My Heart”, and “As Long As You Love Me” may be part of his setlist for the Who I Am Tour.

Balancing his solo career, being part of a band, and being a dad of 3!

It’s an amazing balancing act for the dad of 3, considering the non-stop tours and constantly coming up with songs. For Nick Carter, it means going out for long periods of time. But based on his Instagram, he always makes sure he’s home for Christmas. His daughter, Saoirse, seems to also have picked up his love for music as she “just jumped on the piano all by herself.”

As for the concert, tickets will be available on TicketNet.com.ph and SMTickets.com. Nick Carter’s concert in Cebu will be on May 23, 2024, at 8 PM in the Waterfront Hotel Ballroom while his Manila performance will be on May 24, 2024, at 8 PM at the New Frontier Theater.
