Marian Rivera supports Zia Dantes’ pursuit of music as the little girl performs in her piano recital.
Sports are not the only things where parents are their children’s cheerleaders. It’s also in the field of music especially when the performance is so charming. That’s exactly what happened with Zia Dantes’ piano performance of “Can’t Help Falling in Love With You.” Marian Rivera posted the short performance on her Instagram Stories and Facebook Page but shared also some shots on her Instagram, proud of Zia’s passion for music. “This little girl always amazes me! Couldn’t be more proud of you, Ate Z! 😍,” writes Marian. You can watch her heartwarming performance below:
Nurturing Zia’s Love For Music
Zia has always captured hearts with her short snippets of singing with her dad, Dingdong Dantes, and has even performed the song she was playing on the piano on guitar.
But her ability to play these instruments is all because her parents, Dingdong Dantes, and Marian Rivera, have been encouraging and supporting her passion for music. Music can be frustrating at times, especially when constantly hitting the same wrong note by mistake, or mixing up the piece.
Dingdong Dantes also wrote on his Instagram how soothing and heartwarming it was for him to see his unica hija perform—especially after life threw the Dantes Squad a few setbacks and curveballs. “But amidst the chaos, there are moments like this – watching my daughter play the piano with grace in her first recital. Suddenly, I snap out of the worry and all I see is beauty. It reminds me to hold onto hope and find comfort in life’s little moments, and that everything’s gonna be alright.”
“Everything’s gonna be alright.” — music does send that message to people on a more spiritual level and Zia just sent that message to her parents without saying a word.

It also takes a lot for a kid to walk up and perform in front of people, something that clearly didn’t rattle Zia. Coupled with some practice, when kids do master and feel the love in the musical score — their performance can be both tear-jerking and comforting. Accompanied by her piano teacher, Teacher Danda, Zia confidently played the piece that resonates closely with her heart. Bravo for the wonderful performance, Zia!
