Anne Barretto Shares the Beauty of Managing Home and Business
Anne Barretto shares the beauty she found in balancing her home and business.
With the pandemic hurting the beauty industry, CEO of LGB Aesthetic Center Opc and Hey Pretty Founder Anne Barretto needed to change her strategies. From negotiating with the landowners and minimizing overhead expenses, Anne struggled to keep her business afloat. While that stress could have burned out any of us mompreneurs or working parents, Anne powered through and survived as she found solace and safety with her family.
Finding the beauty in the pandemic
It took Anne some time to find the beauty after seeing the devastation. She shares, “Aesthetic centers are one of the hardest hit by this pandemic. So, I needed to improvise and create strategies for the clients to trust us and make them feel secure every time they visit our clinics. We offer unique, cost-effective, and enticing promo packages to our clients and make sure we followed all the safety protocols from vaccinating all the staff, creating our home-service team, and orienting everyone about the protocols. From there, we also doubled our marketing efforts to get extra clients.”
A touch of glamour in each step
Once Anne Barretto saw the “green light”, she made sure Hey Pretty achieved greater heights. “We’re beyond great service and affordability. I made sure that my clinics are exceptional in ambiance, cleanliness, and comfort. There were on-site visits to check every detail from decor to operations. But one of the most important parts of reopening was my admin team. They were the core of the operation and I’m proud to say that they are the best,” she beams.
The beauty of solace and safety with family
Self-care and time with family have always been Anne’s go-to to keep the burned-out look away. “Whenever I feel stressed out, I make sure that I spend time with my family especially with my son. We always enjoy traveling and eating together. As a mom, usually, time with them is my stress reliever and they’ve always been the most important part of my day.”
Anne Barretto has her own self-care routine too if there’s a need for some me-time. She offers her advice, “For other working moms out there feeling the stress, get an outlet to relieve the pressure. Usually, I wake up early to meditate so I can clear my mind. Then, there’s also eating healthy meals. At night, I have a cardio workout which I do 3x a week to help out with my meditation and breathing for the next day.”
Here’s to wishing for a more meaningful 2022!
As Anne prepares Hey Pretty to spread the beauty in 2022, she plans to give back to those who have helped her business survive. She shares, “My dreams in 2022 are to be consistent and to strive for better. From the early days of my business, and up to now, I’m making sure I don’t become complacent. I plan to give back through a chosen charity and develop myself and those who stayed with me. Whether it’s through seminars, team buildings, and bible studies, our company’s growth and motivation need to be fueled by our faith and trust in the Lord.”
Help spread the beauty and check out Hey Pretty’s clinics and their website. They have several branches for us to check out!
