Elevate Mom Fashion To Red Carpet Level With Mark Bumgarner’s Latest Collab
Mark Bumgarner collaborates with R.A.F Manila to create elegant and bold new pieces to elevate every mom’s wardrobe.
We know Mark Bumgarner as a designer for celebrity moms like Andi Manzano and Beauty Gonzales and fashion-lifestyle icons like Heart Evangelista. Known for his creativity and structured silhouettes, his latest collaboration with R.A.F Manila lets us elevate our on-the-go looks into something more for the red carpet. Taking bold tropical foliage and bright prints, he gives mom fashion a new element of versatile elegance.
During the launch of the special collection, Modern Parenting spotted the most stylish moms including Kelly Misa-Fernandez, Aliza Apostol-Goco, and Phoemela Baranda.
Check out the latest pieces from Mark Bumgarner and his collab with R.A.F Manila:
Luna Tube
Tubes aren’t just innerwear when pairing them with oversized blazers. It’s time to show off those sculpted shoulders we earned from hours of pilates and yoga. The Luna Tube is an asymmetric piece with a sash that flares out to match our wide-leg pants or when we want to add some flare to our ensemble.
Amor Dress
Prints might be too loud for us but using a color that sticks out isn’t. The Amor Dress uses accents and bold colors to make it stand out. Pink, red-orange, red, and white — all these hues focus on what we moms have: a passion for everything we do, including glamming up.
Nieve Pants
Bell-bottomed pants or wide-legged pants focus on emphasizing how toned our thighs are from running after the kids and possibly our fur babies. The Nieve Pants does exactly that with neutral colors of black, cream, and blue to match with any of the bolder tops we bought.
Sol Top and Skirt
Co-ords help when moms don’t have the time or brain power to spare. Or, if we have some crystals, vintage gold jewelry, or bespoke statement pieces from local artisans to show off. The Sol Top and Skirt in plain black, green, and pink along with some patterns make for an extra versatile look that’s great for a hotel-grade Hen Party or a classy wine-and-dine night.
Hola Polka Dot Long Sleeves
We moms love our polka dots and we grew up with this design. When we’re also invited to a new year celebration, some of us may find it customary to wear polka dots to attract more money. If we find ourselves in that situation then, the Hola Polka Dot Long Sleeves might do the trick. Made in both blush and light blue colors, it’s translucent as well—making it cooler to wear.
Fria Shorts
Being a mom doesn’t mean we can’t wear shorts anymore. Pants can get too hot and some of us want to make the most out of our waxing, epilating, plucking, or shaving! So don’t be ashamed and enjoy the hairlessness while wearing the Fria Shorts. They come in an assortment of colors like mint green, black, and white.
There’s no better time to elevate mom fashion than NOW.
Being a mom doesn’t mean we lose our right to be trendy and sexy. All the more we have a right to celebrate being a woman because we look good from all the heavy lifting in dealing with society’s crazy demands from a mother. No one also said it was a crime to make mom fashion red carpet-worthy. And if there’s anyone who deserves the right to slay the runway, it’s us, mothers.
Mark Bumgarner‘s collaboration with R.A.F can be found in R.A.F. Shangrila, R.A.F. Glorietta 2, R.A.F. Alabang Town Center Pop-up, and Robinsons Magnolia Pop-up. Additionally, it’s available on rafmanila.com.
