LIST: Numbers and Foundations Helping Out For Typhoon Karding
Here’s a running list of numbers from local government units and relief operations as Typhoon Karding batters Luzon.
Typhoon Karding (international name Noru) which entered as a Super Typhoon made its landfall in Quezon and Aurora on Sunday, September 25. Malacañang already announced the suspension of classes at all levels and work in government offices.
Evacuation in low-lying areas has been mobilized by local government units as well. Various groups have also activated relief operations and LGUs have posted emergency numbers. Malls have made announcements for those who need to charge phones and park their cars from the floods.

Rural Rising Philippines
Members of Rural Rising Philippines called for donations for the farmers and fisherfolk in Central Luzon whose crops and livelihood might be affected as different storm signals are still up.
Katribu Youth
Katribu Youth announced it has launched the Lingkod Katribu for indigenous families that will be affected by the typhoon.
Quezon City Goverment
The local government of Quezon City has also posted hotline numbers and constant updates on its social media accounts.
Pampanga Emergency Numbers
The Pampanga Public Information Office (PIO) has posted emergency hotline numbers that Cabalens can contact.
Marikina Local Goverment
The Marikina Public Information Office is constantly monitoring the water level at the Marikina River.
Provincial Government of Aurora
The Facebook page of the Provincial Government of Aurora has been active in giving updates on what’s happening in the province. Aurora Governor Christian Noveras has also prepared the province by making food packs.
Provincial Government of Quezon
The Provincial Government of Quezon has been sending updates and has sent relief goods, too.
Ateneo de Manila University
Ateneo announced its once again calling for cash donations for its relief operations for those hit by Typhoon Karding.

While donations are accepted, they’re also looking for volunteers to arm up the soup kitchen to feed all the hungry and affected by the typhoon.
