Neri Naig and Chito Miranda’s son Miggy has his own condo!
Some parents buy their kids toys, books, and clothes. But Neri Naig and Chito Miranda just bought their son, Miggy, a condo.
Kids don’t really think about investing money and usually leave it up to us to decide. But Neri and Chito Miranda decided that Miggy ought to learn early about money. Using the money from his endorsements, Neri uses the money to make sure that 6-year-old Miggy Miranda now has his own condo. Neri Naig posted on her Instagram last February 17, 2022 on how happy she is that Miggy’s condo will soon be finished on March 2022.
“It’s never too early to learn how to invest money,” says Neri
Neri shares that she’s been using the money Miggy earned from his first endorsement with Baby Flo to pay for the new condo unit. Now completely paid, she mentions in the caption how it’s never too early for kids to learn how to use money. She shares, “We plan to teach the kids how to be financially literate. It’s never too late or early to learn. What matters is, we all start at some point in our lives.”
The condo was bought at pre-selling price when Miggy first learned how to walk. Eventually, the Miranda family plans to have it rented out for short stays. To design the condo, they hired Grupo Santa Maria to work on the interiors.
“I’m so excited to start renting it out now so we can start on our next project,” she adds in the caption.
An investment for the future
We all have different approaches on how to prepare our kids for the future. Some parents believe that their kids should work for their own money, refusing to give them an inheritance to teach them about hard work. Others want to give their kids a better headstart so that their kids can have enough capital to chase their own passions. But just like Neri Naig shared about the condo, Miggy will eventually have to learn how to manage it as he gets older. That way, he can learn early on how to manage the money’s he earned and how to invest in things.
