Bluey Book Reads Season 2 Is Now Online!
Just in time for the summer, kids can watch Bluey Book Reads season 2 on YouTube and Bluey.tv
Since the show was first broadcast, Bluey and her sister Bingo have become a part of many families’ lives. Since then, the show has expanded to reach more children through various resources, from shows to books.
And for the parents looking to entertain their children this summer, Season 2 of Bluey Book Reads has arrived online. BBC Studio announced that new episodes dropped on April 16 on YouTube and Bluey.tv—ready to stream anytime.
What’s In Store for Season 2?
Bluey has several guests for season 2, including friends from Sesame Street. Elmo and Cookie Monster star in the episode Bluey Book Reads, in which they read, “What Games Should We Play?”
“A Sesame Street-Bluey collaboration is the perfect way to provide entertaining and engaging content to fans of both popular series,” said Jenny Gioia, VP of Content and Programming at Sesame Workshop. “We are excited to have Elmo and Cookie Monster encourage playful learning and a love of reading with Bluey Book Reads.”
Other guests set to voice characters in season 2 include British actress Helena Bonham Carter, Elijah Wood, and Auli’i Cravalho, known for voicing Moana.
Actress Diane Kruger lends her voice in the episode “Camping’ and ‘The Creek,” on the show’s German channel, while Han Gain (Mistress) also lends her voice to the first-ever Korean Bluey Book Read for “Baby Race.”
“Tucking in for the night in our house never happens without a good Bluey book. I’m thrilled I got the opportunity to read these two stories. I definitely got mom points for this one,” Diane said.
The first season of Bluey Reads was shown in February 2024 and offers fans a chance to listen to Bluey’s books based on the episode shown on television.

Expanding the show’s reach
Bluey Reads is another show that has expanded the franchise to kids worldwide. Aside from the show, Bluey has been added to merchandise like books, clothes, and accessories. An album was also released last year.
Early this year, LEGO announced its collaboration with the show for its latest toy line. It will be available in June.
Bluey tells the story of a “lovable, inexhaustible, Blue Heeler dog, who lives with her Mum, Dad, and her little sister, Bingo. In the show, Bluey uses her limitless energy to play games that unfold in unpredictable and hilarious ways, bringing her family and the whole neighborhood into her world of fun.”
It’s one of the most streamed children’s shows in the US. It has won several awards, including the 2019 International Emmy Kids Award and the 2022 British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) for the Children & Young People Award in the International Category.
